Hepatofilin

Each component in Hepatofilin plays an important role in the health of the liver and gallbladder, as well as the entire digestive tract and excretory system.

Liver

The liver is the organ that eliminates waste products and toxic substances that have entered the human body. It is our natural biofilter, but the more we burden it, the greater the risk of it becoming "clogged." The good thing is that the liver is able to regenerate itself - a process that we could support in a completely natural way. The milk thistle extract contained in Hepatofilin is one of the most effective means for this purpose. The most valuable ingredient in it is the flavonoid silymarin. The positive effect of silymarin on liver cells is the result of competitive interaction with the receptors for the corresponding toxins in the hepatocyte membrane. Silymarin binds to free radicals and reduces the adverse effects of toxic substances. Thanks to this close relationship, impaired function of one organ inevitably negatively affects the work of the other. This is precisely why dandelion extract is included in Hepatofilin. It contains biologically active substances that support biliary secretion and the normal functioning of the digestive system. Their effect reduces the risk of gallstone formation and also favours the activity of the gallbladder when such are already present. Milk thistle and artichoke extracts have an additional beneficial effect in this direction. Hepatofilin is also extremely suitable for people whose gallbladder has been removed.

Kidneys and urinary tract

Liver function is closely tied to the excretory system, especially the kidneys. Urine is a main route for eliminating toxins. Artichoke and dandelion in Hepatofilin promote urine excretion, which supports this process.

Digestion

Milk thistle, artichoke, and dandelion are known for aiding digestion. Milk thistle supports metabolism. Dandelion contains inulin, a prebiotic for intestinal bacteria. Cynarin in artichoke helps relieve gas and bloating.
